Entry: Term3 Blues Wednesday, May 13, 2009

MSA’s AGM and elections was last week – half of the new committee has been elected. In other words, I’m unofficially not the VP anymore. Aww. I kinda miss being the Vice-President already *though I’m still officially the VP until the full committee is elected next term*. Despite all the work I had to do I’m glad I decided to take a risk and run for the post. And yes, I know I’ve complained A LOT about the workload etc. but I can now sincerely say that I enjoyed being the VP. Sure there were times I came SO close to giving up but I’m very glad I persevered in the end. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to say that I’m proud to have been the VP of MSA. Of course there were bad times (like staring at my laptop for the whole evening trying to come up with different excuses to give the Timetabling person so that I’d be able to book multiple rooms in one night for Mnight practices for 5 weeks. Man, that was SUCH a hassle), but there were good times as well – I enjoyed dikir practices *I know I may have seemed somewhat stressed at times but I still enjoyed it*, play practices etc., i’m happy I made the friends I did and who can forget the mnight de-stress sessions (or more like mnight stress sessions) me, jin and enli would have at café library daily.. Anyway my point is, I’m glad that for once in my life, I took a risk and did something different – something the old zhiyi wouldn’t have done – and ran for VP because it was truly an unforgettable experience :)

On a more depressing note, exams are nearing :( Boo-hoo. Argh I hate exams laaaa. Revision is hell I tell you. SO not fun. Sigh. And I hate the fact that I’m ending the latest among my friends just because my stupid Islamic Law exam is on the 19th (everyone else I know seems to finish on the 16th). Noooooo… T___T Ah well. And die laa essay results are coming back slowly… I got my Consti essay marks today. Well all things considered, I think I didn’t do too badly. Got a 2-1 (albeit not a very high 2-1) which is actually good since I started off the essay not having a clue on what judicial review was about. But now I’ll have to see how my other two essays go.. I have a feeling my BFI one is gonna be really  bad because everytime Hugh Beale starts talking about my essay topic in his revision lectures I always spot something I failed to notice when doing my essay. Die laa dieee. Sigh. I just hope I get at least a 2-2 for BFI. Shit la. International Law.. I dunno la. I can’t really tell how I did. I just have my fingers crossed. Hopefully it’ll be okay.

Anyway, I dunno when I’ll update again since I’m busy “revising” and all. Haha. So till the next time ppl!

P.S. Sasha if you're reading this... you really shouldn't be... Study wehh!!!! ;p
